Monthly Community Outreach
ABOUT
One of the ways, as a church that we feel called to love our neighbor, is to practically meet the felt needs of those in our downtown community. We do this monthly at our Community Resource Hub.
On the first Saturday of each month, from 12pm-2pm we provide free food, hygiene supplies and clothing. In addition, we have invited other community partners that provide additional health & wellness services.
On average we serve 800 adults and children per month. That said, there are a lot of needs to make this happen. If you would like to be apart of showing the love of Christ to those most in need in this way, please see below all the ways you can be involved.

Volunteer Your Time
On the first Saturday of each month, dozens of volunteers are needed to make this outreach happen. The volunteer opportunities are broken into 4 time slots and areas of need. The first is set-up from 8:00am - 9:00am, then the preparation and packaging of food from 9:00am - 12:00pm. The 3rd shift is from 11:30am - 2:30pm for help with registration, distribution and the last is from 1:00pm - 3:00pm for clean-up.

Meet Practical Needs
Most of our perishable and non-perishable food is provided by a few amazing non-profits that we have partnered with. But, as a church, we are needing to supply most of the hygiene products that we give out each month. In addition, there are other supplies and equipment necessary for the operation of the outreach.
We have put together an Amazon Wish List sharing these needs. We would love if you would consider partnering with us by purchasing an item or two to help serve those in need.

Donate Financially
We would like to raise more financial support to put more resources towards ensuring longevity of this ministry, and to increase our capacity of how many people we can serve. This would include things like hiring staff, building out our current infrastructure and other on-going expenses.
